You need to get involved with things and people that can help you find humor. The choice of music, books, and TV programs has an influence on your laughter. Educate your mind with funny thoughts. Put yourself in places where you are exposed to humor. Laughter is a winning situation. It takes practice. Daily practice is a must.
If you have a habit of hugging your kids and telling them you love them on a daily basis it didn't just happen. This is something you worked on and practiced. Oh, if all jobs or situations was this good. You are in charge of your own humor. You can choose to ignore or you can make sure it is included in your daily routine. Remember here that we are trying to keep an active relationship between our mind and our body. To be kept active it must be practiced on a regular routine.

You have a choice in laughing, you can laugh or not. Have you ever considered laughter therapy as being a science? Well it is. It has been used for years in Eastern Countries. The study looks at how our minds process information, how the nervous system reacts and how the immune system responds. Now that we are aware of this we can better control our thoughts and actions. We can teach ourselves to laugh and see humor in stressful situations. There are people who make a living as motivational humorist teaching people to laugh.
One such person over 70 years old says he is free of heart disease. We take for granted that laughing is a natural way of life but the fact is some people have to be taught. Laughing is the best way to get over being depressed.
When we can surround ourselves with family and friends and enjoy some good humor and laughter it will do us a world of good. It is like a shot in the arm. It will snap us back into shape in no time. It is wonderful to be around someone that is happy and laughing. If someone comes to work, school, etc. And they have had a bad day or night being around someone that is bubbly and laughing and in a good mood, just might rub off on them. I know that it has helped me many times.
It is a way to get a person to forget about there bad times they may have had. Keep laughing it may help someone. Just think when you least expect it, you can help and encourage someone. It may help them out of a bad situation. So keep doing what you are doing, smiling and laughing, it will have a positive influence on anyone that comes in contact with it.
